In those days Facebook is the most popular social networking website all over the world.
In 2004 when Mark Zuckerberg start this social networking site there are a few people who are used, but now a days this is huge. If we look the graph of facebook uses then it will be like this

There are so many social networking websites and applications are available now a days like :- Instagram, twitter, snapchat, wechat,whatss app, YouTube, messenger and many more , but facebook take the first position for maximum uses.Facebook’s growth the last half decade has been fueled by the developing world. The company has relentlessly optimized its app for cheap Android smartphones and low-bandwidth connections. It’s added 746 million users in Asia and the Rest of World region since hitting 1 billion users total. Meanwhile, it only added 41 million in the U.S. and Canada. The main motive of facebbok is to connect the people around you and your society, but now a days some people are facing problem to using facebbok, and they are worried about the facebook security.
So now i am going to tell you some steps that how you can protect your facebook from hacking or abuse.
Step 1 :- Always remember 3 things
a) Enabled the Secure Browsing
b) Enabled Login notification
c) Enabled Login Approvals
They may use computers at a friend’s house, the library, or other public locations. As an example, if you are logging in to Facebook from a computer in the library, you’ll be asked to enter in a code. You’ll receive the text message, know that it’s YOU using Facebook, and enter the code. If you receive the text message and you WERE NOT trying to log into Facebook, you’ll know there is a problem. And the hacker trying to get into your account will not have the code.
Step 2 :- Do not login any unknown Application through facebook password. Usually hackers make people target through this application .
Step 3:- Now a days you will find some links on your timeline regularly that describe you that Which celebrity you looking like, after 50 years you will be like .... your crush.. your love.... your soulmate.. ect.
And generally people click on those link , and the whole process is started to the back end. The hackers make some malicious link and bind it with those attractive display. So don't click such link and aware about this.
Step 4:- Change your Password once in a week, and don't use common password like your name, phone no, or like xxx@098, put a very strong password .
Step 5:- Use your own Mobile, tablet, PC for using facebook or any other social networking site, don't use other's device, and never login your facebook in any cyber cafe . Because a hacker can collect the cookies and easily find your password.
Step 6:- Use two step verification and add your regular email id and phone no.
step 7 :- Regularly check Activity Log , if any suspicious thing you find then change your password immediately.
Step 8:- To see and manage a list of your active sessions go to More --> Tap Settings--->Tap Security and Login---->Go to Where You’re Logged In
If you see an active session you know wasn’t made by you, click the drop down menu and select not you.
You can also choose to secure your account. Facebook will take you through a few steps to change your password and make sure any recent changes to your account came from you.
Make sure your password is unique, but memorable enough that you don’t forget it.
Don’t use a password that you use on other sites – if one site gets hacked and your password is stolen, hackers will often try it on other sites.
Don’t share your password with anyone. If you think someone else has it, you should change it.
Step 10:- Only add those person to your friendliest who are known by you.
Step 11:- Don't save your password to any browser.
